Slackware 11 installs but won't boot - help!
I want to leave it and change the slave cd-rom to a DVD-rom (not a dvd r/w rom)... I bought bestbuys dvd-rom, took out the 'slave' cd-rom and put the dvd-rom in with the pin set for the slave. I booted my computer and it won't boot pass the first booting page. It won't boot into windows.. What could be wrong?

Dual boot: I use partition magic and boot magic so I can't tell you the 'hard 'n' dirty way' to do it. I also use Drive Image 2002 for my personal machines. They've alll 3 been perfect for me, but maybe not for a Dell. Sometimes Drive Image won't work on a Dell. Sometimes Ghost also won't work on some newer Dells.
